An interest to many USA and worldwide collectors is the business relationship AL&W had with the Creek Chub Bait Co. of Garett Indiana. For several decades AL&W sold the Creek Chub baits and many of these lures had a similar paint and rigging to their US cousins but generally they are slightly different, so it is believed that the bodies were shipped to Canada and then painted and assembled here (tax saving measure?)
