Pacific NW Salmon Plugs ~ 1930's to present day
There is nothing like the thrill of hooking and landing a large Pacific Coast Chinook Salmon (also known as SPRINGS, KINGS, TYEE) especially on a plug.
I am told there were over 100 different companies producing salmon plugs between the 1930's and 1970's. Having attempted to collect these plugs in all combinations of makers, sizes, colours...... Its quite a task to build a good collection.
On this Salmon Plug page are some examples of what I have found over the years of surfing garage sales, flea markets, auctions and online.
The smiles from the 2 anglers pictured on the left say it all!
